Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar

Celebrating 20 Years: June 15 – 27, 2026

The Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar is a vibrant hub for excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Renowned for fostering an unparalleled standard of artistry, Chosen Vale brings together a uniquely high level of international participants and world-class faculty in an inspiring and supportive environment. This dynamic community has produced alumni who have gone on to achieve remarkable careers as soloists, orchestral musicians across American, Asian, and European ensembles, chamber artists, celebrated conductors and composers, and influential professors.

Central to Chosen Vale’s mission is its emphasis on collaboration. Participants and faculty alike share ideas, explore diverse perspectives, and work together to push the boundaries of trumpet performance and pedagogy where we carefully examine all classical music, from Baroque through the classics and romantics, to music of today. This culture of exchange creates a seminar experience that is as transformative as it is rigorous.

At our 2026 seminar, we are proud to continue welcoming faculty artists whose musical voices reflect both depth and breadth. Participants will engage with artists whose careers span solo performance, chamber music, and collaboration with leading orchestras around the world, and whose work embraces a wide range of repertoire—from Baroque and Romantic traditions to contemporary music and jazz. This diversity of experience offers participants a powerful model of stylistic versatility, artistic curiosity, and lifelong musical growth, further enriching Chosen Vale’s tradition of excellence and its commitment to expansive, imaginative musicianship.
